Many of us believe that the disappearance of the woolly mammoth was really distant, in fact we always associate these giant animals at the time of the caveman. However, the last survivors of this species that lived on the island of Wrangel, a Russian island in the Arctic Ocean became extinct there are only 4000 years old at the time of the pyramids built by the pharaohs.
