Australian beer take much seriously as sports (rugby, cricket ...). In fact, for Australians, sport and beer go hand in hand and nothing goes better with a cold beer sports.
A petition was established in 2000 which has become the second largest petition in the history of Australia with 792,985 signatures against the dramatic rise in beer prices due to taxation.
The petition with the largest number of signatures was presented last February 26 on financial support for community pharmacies, with 1,210,471 signatures.
