Bill Eberhar, a researcher at the Smithsonian Tropical Research Institute and professor at the University of Costa Rica, examined nine spider species from six different families and showed that tiny spiders have huge brains relative to their body it is spread in almost all of their body cavities until their paws. Indeed, the central nervous system of these tiny spiders fill nearly 80% of their body cavity, including about 25% of their legs.
